For those who have purchased the Community Action Poverty Simulation kit, must agree to the terms of Missouri CAN’s license agreement.
The Community Action Poverty Simulation is registered with and protected by the United States Copyright Office. When a customer purchases a Poverty Simulation kit, they invest not only in the kit materials but also a copyright license which grants permission to use the curriculum under circumstances stipulated by the license agreement. Every interested customer should review the license agreement in detail before signing and contact Missouri CAN with any questions. Essentially, this agreement ensures that the licensee reserves the perpetual right to use the Poverty Simulation kit’s material as intended by Missouri CAN, and it ensures Missouri CAN that no customer shall profit from, reproduce, or make modifications to the kit materials, thereby compromising the Poverty Simulation’s integrity.
After purchasing the Poverty Simulation, please download a copy of the license agreement, review and sign the agreement. You will then need to return the license agreement to Missouri CAN by emailing it to povertysimulation@communityaction.org
